Privacy Policy
Last updated June 30, 2026
Your photos are personal, and we treat them that way. This policy explains what information AI Archive collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We never sell your data, and we never look at your photos to train models or for advertising.
Information we collect
Account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture so we can create and identify your account.
Photos you upload. The photos you add to your archive, along with the metadata they carry (such as the date and camera information embedded in the file).
Billing details. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive a customer reference and your plan status, but we never see or store your full card number.
Usage data. Basic technical logs (such as request times and error reports) that help us keep the service running and secure.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate your archive: to store and display your photos, to compress and restore them on request, to manage your subscription, and to keep your account secure. We also use aggregate, non-identifying data to improve the service.
How your photos are stored
When you upload a photo, we hold the original for a short window — about 7 days — so you can verify it imported correctly. After that, the original is purged and only a compact archive copy remains.
When you restore a photo, we generate a full-resolution version on demand and cache it temporarily before purging it again. Your archive copies remain for as long as your account is active.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to deliver the service: Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and storage), and an AI image provider used solely to restore your photos when you ask. These providers process data only as needed to perform their function.
Exporting and deleting your data
You can export your full archive as a ZIP file at any time from your account. You can also permanently delete your account, which removes your photos and personal information from our systems. Deletion cannot be undone.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and we limit access to your data to what is required to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your memories.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
